Obituary for Thelma Diane Yates Hein
Thelma Diane Hein (Yates), age 65, of Riverview, Florida, on December 26, 2022. She was born on February 13, 1957, to the late Laddie Yates and Shirley Ann Yates in Lynwood, California. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandparents, Ned and Ivy Lee Yates. Diane was a light in the life of everyone who knew her. Every life she touched was forever changed for the better. She loved and adored her son Jason, and her granddaughter, Jenna. Jenna became a ray of sunshine for her from the first moment she held her. She will be forever loved and missed.
Survivors include her son, James Jason Headrick; brothers, Danny Hoffman, and Laddie “Gus” Yates; sister, Leisa Matthews; granddaughter, Jenna Diane Headrick; daughter-in-law, Salena Hoffman; former husband, James Lawson Headrick, Jr.; nieces, nephews, and cousins; extended family and friends.
The family will honor and celebrate Diane’s life on Saturday, February 04, 2022, at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand beginning at 12:00 PM. The family will gather at the funeral home for visitation from 11:00 until service time. Inurnment will follow at Restlawn Memory Gardens in LaGrange, Georgia. All loved ones and friends are invited to attend the remembrance services.
