Obituary for Susan Diane Barber Harris
Susan Diane Harris, of LaGrange, passed away on February 1, 2023. She was born in Atlanta on May 2, 1960 to the late Joseph Herbert Barber and Thelma Jo Jackson. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Susan is preceded in death by her husband, Joel Chandler Harris, Jr.; her sisters, Judy Jackson, Phyllis Moss, and Gale Sheets.
Mrs. Harris is survived by her daughter, Kristy Leigh Harris Stewart and her husband Daniel; her siblings, Dale Dean and Danny Barber and his wife Tammy; her grandchildren, Dylan Chandler Stewart and Kenleigh Jade Stewart; several neices and nephews. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 5:00 PM at Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter-Allen-Myhand. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until service time on Saturday. Pastor Rodney Roquemore will officiate the service.
