Obituary for Sheila Ann Rice (Nauss)
Mrs. Sheila Ann Rice, of LaGrange, passed away on February 7, 2023. She was born in LaGrange on November 4, 1951 to the late George Nauss and Martha Miller Nauss. Mrs. Rice was a faithful member of Roper Heights Baptist Church. She loved worshiping the Lord and playing the piano. She loved her family dearly and she treasured every moment she got to spend with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Rice is survived by her children, Stacie Rice (Jamie Cardwell), Eric Rice (Nikki Rice), and April Rice; her brother, Mike Nauss; her grandchildren, Colby Wolf (Ashley Wolf), Brent Noles, Morgan Rice, Lindsay Rice, and Seth Rice; her great-grandchildren, Aralyn Couch and Leighton Wolf; her niece and nephew, Shane Nauss and Angie Nauss. The family will receive friends at Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter-Allen-Myhand from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Thursday, February 9, 2023. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 10, 2023 at Roper Heights Baptist Church, 507 Poplar St, West Point, GA, 31833. The committal service will directly follow the funeral and will be held at Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange. Pastor Aaron McCullough will officiate the service.
