Obituary for Nancy Carolyn Corless Hogg
Nancy Carolyn Corless Hogg, age 95, died peacefully at home on June 11, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. “Jack” Hogg, Jr.; parents, Charles Corless and Nan Lee Corless; twin sister, Julia Swetnam, and brother, Chuck Corless.
She is survived by her children, John J. Hogg, III, William Hogg (Valerie), Robert Hogg (Karen), Carolyn Robinson (Phil) and Michael Hogg (Teresa); brother, Mike Corless and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She lived most of her life in LaGrange, Georgia and Montgomery, Alabama. However, she and her husband of 68 years, Jack, lived all over the world, including two times in Japan, where one of her children was born. The other children were born in Florida, Washington, Georgia and Colorado. She was a devoted wife and mother and will be missed by all who knew her.
The family will have a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at the Trinity Presbyterian Church in Montgomery, Alabama. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. The family will visit on Friday, June 16, 2023 at Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhnad from 11:00 – 11:30 a.m. Graveside service will begin at 11:35 a.m. at Hillview East Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family ask you to donate to your favorite charity in memory of Nancy Hogg.
