Obituary for Mary Virginia Smith
Mrs. Mary Virginia Smith passed away on December 31, 2022. She was born in LaGrange, Georgia to the late William Henry Payne and Jannie Elizabeth Gordy. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her daughter, Rhonda Faye Rollins.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her children, Jannie H. Poole; Harold E. Hawes, and Leslie Alva Hawes; her 12 grandchildren; her 15 great grandchildren. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers as they make their way through this very challenging time.
Mrs. Smith will be laid to rest at Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange during a private family committal service on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 2:00 PM.
