Obituary for Linda Fay Hall Brown
Mrs. Linda Fay Hall Brown, age 69, of Valley, Alabama passed away on September 6, 2023. Mrs. Brown was born on April 22, 1954 in LaGrange to the late James Curtis Hall and Willie Mae Hester Hall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Timothy Shane Hall, a brother, Hollis Norred and sisters, Barbara Burnham and Sandra Andrews.
Mrs. Brown retired from Quality Machine and Fabrication and was previously the owner and operator of the Kountry Kitchen in LaGrange for several years. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed her flowers, relaxing by the pool, cruising and trips with family friends. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grand kids and her sister Ruby. She loved hard and cared deeply for her family.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Holloway; son and daughter-in-law, Phillip Brown and his wife Terri; daughter and son-in-law, Tracy White and her husband Dawendall; step-son, Rex Holloway; sister and brother-in-law, Ruby Burnham and her husband Randy; brother, Johnny Norred; grandchildren, Aaron and Kyndall Robinson, Rosa Brown and Wesley Sergeant, Dewayne Brown, Kassidy White, Austin and Michala Taylor, Andrew and Rachel Taylor, Makayla Burnham, Jerrick and Ravyn Hamby, Michaela Hamby and Luke and Shanoya Senn; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and extended family.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand Chapel with Pastor Ronnie Jordan officiating. Interment will follow at Shadowlawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5:00-7:00 pm. At other times, family and friends will gather at Bill and Linda’s home, 484 Lee Road 965, Valley, Alabama, 36854.
