Lanny Ross Holmes, of LaGrange, passed away on April 23, 2023. He was born on August 5, 1941 to the late Allen Holmes and Mary Coxson in Jamestown, New York. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Peggy Holmes; second wife, Lisa Ann Holmes; brother, Richard Holmes. He served in the United States Army. He retired from Berney Office Solutions in Auburn, Alabama. Survivors include his son, Todd Holmes and his wife, many grandchildren; extended family and friends.

The family will have visitation on Wednesday, April 26. 2023 at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand from 1:00 – 2:00 pm. The funeral will begin at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Lamar Womack officiating.
