Obituary for John Thomas Moore, Jr.
John Thomas Moore, Jr., age 80, of Heard County, passed away on April 26, 2023. He was born on February 7, 1943 to the late John Thomas Moore, Sr. and Annie Dennis Moore in Heard County, Georgia. He retired from Solutia/Monsanto as an Accounts Manager. He is survived by his wife, Barbara DeLoach Moore; son, Jason Moore; daughter, Elizabeth Moore Barrs (John); much loved cousins, Marie Pike and family, Diane Hunter Knight and family, Richard Hunter and family, Kay Wilkes and family, Ray Wingo and family; many more extended family and friends within the community.
The family will have visitation on Friday, May 12, 2023 at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. The memorial service will begin at 4:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of John Moor, Jr. to any church or charity of your choice.
