Thomas Jefferson “Jeff” Brown, Jr., age 71, of LaGrange, passed away on April 14, 2023. He was born on March 20, 1952, to the late Thomas Jefferson Brown, Sr., and Myrtle Elizabeth in LaGrange, GA. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Gerald Brown and Rayford Brown. He worked at TrackMobile for 35 years before his retirement. Mr. Brown was an Ordained Minister and a Deacon in the Church. He was a 32nd degree Mason. He was a kind, humble, and meek man who loved to help people without anyone knowing about it. He never met a stranger and loved like Jesus loves. He served the Lord faithfully and led many souls to Christ. Mr. Brown was an awesome Husband, a great Daddy, a great son, brother, and friend but most of all, he was a good man. He will be greatly missed by all.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Dianne Ferguson Brown; children, Thomas Jefferson “TJ” Brown, III, Kimberly Young (Bo), Zach Tibbetts (Debby), canine son, Hank; grandchildren, Lillie Young, Hudson Young, Walker Tibbetts; brothers, Edwin Brown, Theron Brown (Janice), Wendell Brown (Ann), Millard Houze (Mary Alice); many nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.

The family will have a visitation on Monday, April 17, 2023 at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. The Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at the funeral home beginning at 3:00 PM with Pastor Cleve Moore and Rev. Lamar Womack officiating. Interment will follow at Gray Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers at this challenging time.
