Obituary for James Randall Outland
Mr. James Randall Outland, of LaGrange, passed away on May 24, 2023. He was born in LaGrange on February 16, 1955 to the late David “D.V.” Vincent Outland and Velma Ruth Hornsby Outland. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Larry Outland.
James “Jimmy” was a devoted family man, friend, and salesman. He lived out the fruits of the spirit in the most beautiful ways every single day of his life. He lead by example and showed us all what it truly means to put God and others first. Jimmy lived a selfless life of integrity and had a special way of making everyone around him feel loved, seen, and valued all the way up until his last breath.
Mr. Outland is survived by his wife, Jean Marie Keeth Outland; his daughter, Kristin Brooke Outland Bryant (Adam); his grandchildren, Romans Outland, Noah Outland, Maverick Bryant, MaryKahlen Bryant, and Blakely Bryant; his cousins, In-laws, and other extended family. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers as they make their way through this very challenging time.
The family will receive friends at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter-Allen-Myhand from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, May 26, 2023. The funeral service will be held at Rosemont Baptist Church in LaGrange on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at 1:00 PM. The committal service will directly follow the funeral and will be held at Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange. Pastor Brad Thompson and Pastor Hope Taylor will officiate the services.
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Egleston, Childrens Healthare of Atlanta. Donations may be mailed to:
