Embry Robertson Bailey, age 81, of LaGrange, passed away on April 6, 2023. He was born on March 14, 1942 to the late Clay Bailey, Sr. and Willie Beth Robertson Bailey in LaGrange, Georgia. He worked at Roadway Express as a Truck Driver before his retirement. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Bailey; brother, Clay Bailey, Jr.; sisters, Beth Bailey Shular and Carole Bailey Fuller.

Survivors include his sons, Mark Bailey (Traci), and Brent Bailey (Missie); daughter, Robin Bailey Dover (Jeff); brother, Charles Bailey (Pat); sister, Patricia Bailey Walker; brother in Law, Jimmy Fuller; grandchildren, Luke Bailey (Whitley), Katie Bailey Oliver (Blake), Quinn Bailey, Ethan Dover, and Drew Dover; great-grandchildren, Addie Bailey, Bo Bailey, Vivian Bailey, Blakely Oliver, Ellie Oliver; nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.

The family will have visitation on Monday, April 10, 2023 at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at the funeral home beginning at 12:00 noon with Rev. Donnie Benefield officiating. Interment will follow at Meadoway Gardens Cemetery.
