Obituary for Elizabeth “Libby” McDonald
Elizabeth “Libby” McDonald, age 58, of LaGrange, passed away on December 31, 2022. She was born on September 24. 1964 to the late Lee McDonald II and Elizabeth “Beth” Arnelle Taylor. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Bo McDonald and Taylor McDonald. Before her retirement, she worked as a Gym Teacher at Rothschild Middle School in Muscogee County.
Survivors include her son, Bailey McDonald; sister in law, Tracey McDonald; nieces and nephews, Jessica Cox, Joshua McDonald , Ashley McDonald Williams; great niece and nephews, Aubriella Cox, Mason Cox, and Bo Cox; extended family and friends.
A memorial service honoring both, Libby McDonald and her mother, Beth McDonald will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand beginning at 11:00 AM with Hope Taylor and Pastor Jamie Rhye officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home for visitation from 10:00 –11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help with final expenses by calling the funeral home or given to Tracey McDonald.
