Elizabeth “Beth” Arnelle Taylor McDonald, age 80, of LaGrange, passed away on December 31, 2022. She was born on September 25. 1942 to the late Robert Taylor and Arnelle Taylor. Before her retirement, she worked at Milliken Incorporated in the Orders Department. After her retirement, she assisted families with at home care. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lee McDonald II; children, Bo McDonald, Taylor McDonald, and Elizabeth “Libby” McDonald; brothers, Bob Taylor, and Dick Taylor.

Survivors include her daughter in law, Tracey McDonald; grandchildren, Jessica Cox (Robert), Bailey McDonald, Joshua McDonald; great grandchildren, Mason Cox, Aubriella Cox, and Bo Cox; brothers, Mal Taylor (Lita), Hope Taylor (Debra), Martin Taylor (Carolyn); sisters, Jo Payne (Dan) and Floy Taylor; many nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.

A memorial service honoring both, Beth McDonald and her daughter, Libby McDonald will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand beginning at 11:00 AM with Hope Taylor and Pastor Jamie Rhye officiating. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home for visitation from 10:00 –11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help with final expenses by calling the funeral home or given to Tracey McDonald.
