Mr. Dennis A. Orwig, age 76, of Hogansville, passed away on February 2, 2023. Mr. Orwig was born on July 8, 1946 in Belleview, Ohio to the late Verl Orwig and Naomi Schaaf Orwig. He had served in many leadership positions with various companies through the years, most notably as CEO of the research firm, Catalitica, Inc.

Survivors include his wife, Fiona Bridgette Duce Orwig; children, Christy Jack (Wendel), Scott Orwig (Kristin), David Orwig and Jacqueline “Jackie” Teall (Andrew); grandchildren, Luke Voster, Ben Voster, John Voster, Olivia Orwig, Sophia Orwig, Madelyn Orwig and Archer Teall; extended family.
