Mrs. Charlotte Elaine Prophett, age 75, of Hogansville, passed away on December 9, 2022. Mrs. Prophett was born on July 9, 1947 in LaGrange to the late Reuben Joe Prophett and Cleo Cobb Prophett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Lee Howard.

Survivors include her sons, Charles Anthony “Chuck” Barnes (Heather) and Curtis Wayne Barnes, Jr. (Kim); brothers, Reuben Joe Prophett, Jr. and Samuel Aaron Storey, Jr.; sister, Mary Jean Storey; four grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; extended family.

Services for Mrs. Prophett will beheld on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand Chapel. Family will receive friends on Wednesday at the funeral home from 12:00-2:00 pm.
