Mrs. Carol Joyce Pittman Meacham, of Acworth, passed away on November 17, 2022. She was born in Riverdale, Georgia on February 25, 1929 to the late Wallace Bonner Pittman, Sr. and Hettie Ruth Powers Pittman. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence J. Meacham; her son, Steven Broughton Meacham; her siblings, Wallace B. Pittman, Jr., Roger Pittman, Dorothy Pittman, Martha Preskitt, Mary Crenshaw, Ilene McClure, Irene Ketchum, Gerry Pittman, Cleo Gafford, and Linda Shellnutt.

Mrs. Meacham is survived by her children, Deborah D. Meacham, and Rebecca “Becky” Ridenhour (Keith), her daughter in-law Kim K Meacham; her grandchildren, Christopher J. Meacham (Heather), Raechel B. Dudek (Patrick), Marcus T. Meacham, Leslie A. Bowman, Sheena R. Queen (Mark), and Terry T. Meacham (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Hunter W. Bowman, Zoë S. Meacham, Lucas A. Meacham, Elia N. Meacham, Graham T. Meacham and Colin W. Meacham. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers as they make their way through this very challenging time.

The funeral service will be held at Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 26, 2022. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from noon until service time on Saturday, November 26, 2022. The committal service will directly follow the funeral and will be held at Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange.
