Mr. Burrell Eston Burdett, age 81, of LaGrange, passed away on March 7, 2023. Mr. Burdett was born on January 19, 1942 in West Point, Georgia to the late Ruby Daniel “Dude” Burdette and Liza Levenia Adcock Burdette. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gentry Burdette. Upon graduation from Troup County High School, he proudly served his country in the United States Army, stationed in Fort Jackson, Fort Hood, Berlin, West Germany, Fort Benning and served ten months in Vietnam. He followed his military career as a Truck Driver, retiring from Jet Corr in Conyers, Georgia.

Survivors include his wife, June Roberts Burdett; sons, Dee Eston Burdette (Lori), Dale Jefferson Burdett (Teresa), Joseph Roberts (Heather) and Jonathan Roberts (Emily); daughter, Jessica Gay; sister, Daphney LeVenia Knight; grandsons, Bo Burdett, Barrett Burdett, Aiden Vines and Ryan Roberts; granddaughters, Jessie Huffman (Jacob), Jolie Burdette, Layla Daniel, Ruby Roberts and Reya Roberts; two great grandsons; the mother if his children, Louneal Smith Burdett. Eston is also survived by six special nieces and nephews and their children that affectionately called him “Unk”.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Living Waters Baptist Church with Pastor Woody Woodard, Pastor Richard Clinard and Rev. S.T. Janney officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends on Saturday at the church beginning at 1:00 pm.
