Mrs. Billie Stallings Leath, of LaGrange, passed away on March 20, 2023. She was born in Carrollton, Georgia on March 19, 1928 to the late W.W. Stallings and Pauline Stallings Thompson. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Leath is preceded in death by her husband, Herman Cody Jackson; her son, William Morgan Jackson; her sisters, Mildred Evers, Willine Anderson, and Hellen Williams.

Mrs. Leath is survived by her son, Greg Jackson (Nan); his grandchild, Leslie Collins (Wade); Cody Jackson (Charlotte), Ashley Jackson, Kitty Murray (Billy), and Jessie Doll (Carson); her great grandchildren, Dillon Dollar, Mark Porter, Emily Jackson, Amelia Murray, Bo Murray, Kellen Collins, and Morgan Jackson. The graveside funeral service will be held at Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange on Friday, March 24, 2023 at 2:00 PM. Pastor Kevin Calhoun will officiate the service.
