Mrs. Barbara Jean Traylor, age 77, of LaGrange, passed away on January 28, 2023. She was born in Randolph County, Alabama on January 16, 1946 to the late Thomas Milford Messer and Martha Gay Messer. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Traylor is preceded in death by her husband, James Virgil Traylor and her sister, Judy M. Perry. Mrs. Traylor served her community as a school bus driver for the Troup County School System, eventually earning her retirement.

Mrs. Traylor is survived by her children, Jamie Traylor (Robyn Wilson) and Heather Traylor; her sister, Patsy M. Laney (Ray); her grandchild, Aden James Traylor. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers as they make their way through this very challenging time.

The funeral service will be held at Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter-Allen-Myhand at 3:00 PM on Monday, January 30, 2023. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until service time on Monday. The committal service will directly follow the funeral and will be held at Meadoway Gardens in LaGrange
